Ubercart – Themeing product pages

I found a nice tutorial about how to theme your product pages in Ubercart. In Ubercart it’s easy to get basic product pages, but to make them look unique requires a bit more finesse.

Here’s the post from the forum:

And while we’re talking about themes, this seems to be a nice module for doing themes with CCK (which Ubercart uses):

  1. Ubercart is an exciting open

Ubercart is an exciting open source e-commerce package that fully integrates your online store with Drupal, the leading open source content management system. Ubercart can also be enhanced by the dozens of contributed Drupal modules and themes and that is an added advantage.

  2. The easiest way to theme

The easiest way to theme ubercart products is by using CSS. This is especially the case if you are using the Zen theme. And I say this is a handy tool for creating CSS is the firefox plugin firebug. But the only issue is Drupal theming is beyond the scope.

  3. Documentation is the little

Documentation is the little thing we all love to have but hate to have to write. Maybe hate is too strong a word, but if it wasn’t so horrible wouldn’t there be more of it? Ubercart is trying hard not to let us down in this case. So I agree that Ubercart is really an exciting open source e-commerce package.

  4. Ubercart is a powerful

Ubercart is a powerful e-commerce suite that allows you to sell physical products, role promotions, file downloads and more through your Drupal site. Current stores use Ubercart to sell audio content, recurring fan club memberships, node access, store credit and event registrations. This session will highlight the core and contributed modules needed to accomplish these things in Ubercart.

  5. Drupal+Ubercart as a Sales
